I hope so.
Hi everyone. I'm doing a motor swap for a friend, putting a '95 AAN
into his '91 CQ. I'm sure some, if not all of you, know that the
connectors on the wiring harness from the AAN are completely different
from those on the CQ.
Have any of you sucessfully implanted an AAN with the stock engine
management into a CQ? How does it wire up? Did you cut and splice old
connectors from the 7A harness? What goes where?
I guess there really aren't too many wires that have to be connected
to get the motor running, right? The previous owner of the motor was
kind enough to painstakingly remove the harness without damage and
send all the connected fuses and relays along with the package.
My friend wants the AC to work as well, but for now I need to focus on
getting the motor running and the wiring harness snugged in it's new
home.
Any help would be immensely appreciated. Unfortunately, I have to work
on this project outdoors in the 100*+ weather of Phoenix, and I need
as much help as I can get.
Thanks in advance!
