Adam,
The front hubs are URS4 hubs, the rear are S2 hubs with urs4 caliper, S8 carriers, and new beetle 280x20 rotors.

new wheels = Flik FTD 17x8 ET35 w/o spacers
'old' wheels = SSR Comp 17x8.5 ET35 with 5mm spacers and 255/40 A032R's

Elijah put on urS4 hubs front and rear (i think) with big blacks up front and
urS4's brakes in back.

?

What wheels are you mounting those tires on? Offset? I have talked to a few
people and was told that 235/40 were the correct tire size for my 17x8 S6
wheels, not mounted yet. Awaiting hubswap and big brakes.

Gordon.

They won't let me use the A032R's being a newbie. If it doesn't look like I'll
be able to use them at all this year I'll sell them, maybe the SSR's they are
still mounted on too.

    >Yea, if you have an extra hood just hack a huge hole in it behind the rad
just for the track :) It does get very hot in the car at the track. With rain in
the forcast I would take a bathroom wastebasket (great for making shrouds and
such) and make a temporary sheild to the air filter so you don't suck water in.
An extra MAF of 2 might be a good idea as well. What tires are you going to use
if its wet?

    >Good point Elijah, I almost forgot about my toasty feet from the 300 mile
ride that day. The fan just blows/sucks that hot air right against the backside
of the foot well. Need to add to the shopping list the most vented sneaks I can
find (and some odor eaters). I do have a spare B4 hood I could experiment with,
hmmmmm.

mind.

you think I should pick up a MAF or 2?

    >Adam,
    > Ducting to the radiator was always something I wanted to do but never got
around to. What I really wanted to do was vent the hood behind the radiator
because if you look behind it there is not really anywhere for the air to go
even if you do get it ducted better. It will just make an air dam like if you
are wearing a coat with a hood that covers your head out in front of your face.
Even when you walk into the wind the air will barley touch your face. Sorry,
that was the only example I could think of, hehe.
