So TRUE!
Finding a competent installer whenever you purchase any part is paramount!

Had exactly the same problem when I had my insurance company replace a "to
spec" glass in my S6A, their installer finally got it right after breaking
the first one, and having to reinstall my chipped and cracked one while we
waited for the second windshield to arrive.

Peter it's not so much the supply. It's getting them installed to specs.
Every story I've heard
about having the glass installed turned into a total cock-up.

A little bird told me that they can be had for a little over $220 from the
dealer...

Now might be the time to grab one, as I hear there is no aftermarket glass
available...
