[Es2] Steering Rack Replacement

Marc, I’m not familiar with the ES2 rack.
Is it a low pressure vane pump driven system like the 90 and CQ?
Or a high pressure piston pump system like the 44 chassis cars?

If the former, they are quite bullet proof. Why does it need replacing?
If the latter, also bullet proof, excepting for the high pressure rod  
seal.
Either is easily rebuilt DIY. The PITA is the R&R.
