I bought this metal distributor gear as part of the original group buy.  

I finally got around to installing and discovered that my car's distributor was already swapped by a previous owner.  

While the distributor was out I also discovered that my mechanic didn't bother to glue my narrow replacement rotor down when I had him replace it 2 years and 30k miles ago so I swapped in a new one and glued it down.  The old one still looks to be in great shape.
