Description:
NO PICTURES.
1985 Audi 4000 Turbo Quattro. It is zermat silver and in very good to excellent condition. It has 15" Speedline wheels from a later 90 20v. Car was a Hawaii car until 2002, then it moved to Seattle where I bought it. I just moved to CT so it has been a west coast car all its life. Odo says 104,000, I bought it with about 80K. On March 18th, the odo started to work intermittantly, so the car may have an extra 100 miles on it or so. It hasnt done it before so I know the mileage is accurate. Comes with Kenwood AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo... will play mp3 CD's. Infiniti Kappas in the doors, and a Rockford Fosgate Amp with an MTX 10" Sub in the trunk with enclosure. This is an amazing car to drive. It is running about 5 psi right now, so its not made to be a rocket, just better than what stock was! There is potential to get much more HP out of it, but you will want to make a few changes first before you do that!
It is an excellent driver with many new parts. Within the last 3000 miles it has gotten all new suspension bushings, belts, (including timing belt), brakes (including calipers), Struts and an engine rebuild. It is a KX motor with a turbo from a 200 turbo, exhaust and igloo from an UrQ... New exhaust system looks and sounds great. Car isnt perfect though, someone tried to break into it before I had gotten it, and pried into the trunk. The rear quarters were repaired quite well but you can still see remnants if you look carefully. They also tried to pry in through the door handles. Engine parts were painted but not well, so they look pretty crappy, but it would be an easy fix if you get really bored. It does have air conditioning but the compressor is currently out of it. It will be included in the sale. It was taken out for the turbo conversion and not put back in, but all other parts are there and it worked GREAT beforehand. It was converted to R-134 and was completely leak free. 2
gauges have been added, a stoich meter and a boost gauge. I will likely take out the stoich meter and use it on my other car however. The pictures also show the sport steering wheel and shift knob which will not be included in the sale, the stock items will be there instead. wheels are typical of the era, with some clear coat going away but otherwise not bad. Car has been repainted VERY WELL but it was from fading, not due to accident. If you want any more pictures, email me. The reserve price reflects the condition as is (minus sport steering wheel). If youre not interested in the wheels/stereo etc this can be negotiated. Car can use an alignment, but isnt bad.
