It is believed that there were less than 300 of these imported to the US. This Avant is in fantastic condition, and I hate to sell it. It drives very well (better I think than my wife's S6). I am the second owner. Originally the car was from California. During my 4 years of ownership, I have thoroughly gone through this car upgrading where necessary, and properly maintaining the other areas. Although the mileage reads 186,xxx, it drives like it has less than a third of those miles. All of the usual problem areas (steering rack, hydraulic hoses, lights, etc.) of this type of car have been addressed and remedied as can be seen by the below listed work.
