Hey all--I've still got my '87 QSW for sale. I found my digicam (finally) 
and got some pictures. I haven't had time to make a nice webpage, but the

I *really* need to sell my QSW--I'm moving to Boston at the end of the 
month and can't take it with. So, if you need a good all-year daily

if you have any questions. Since the forum is publicly readable (to 
telemarketers' computers), I'm not going to post my phone number, but if

A quick recap:
'87 QSW GL5, Tornado Red
Good: both diff locks work, power locks/windows/mirrors work, new hatch, 
good headlights, 140k miles, studded snows on snowflakes plus summer tires 
(BFG Touring T/A) loose, 2 seasons on each set. Sunroof works and does not 
leak.  K&N air filter too. A/C with 134a works, also includes a spare 
compressor (bought it and found mine to work fine). Doesn't overheat on 
100 degree days with A/C on. Comes with a half-bottle of VW blue 
antifreeze and can include water to match upon request ;-)
Bad: Tornado Red paint is faded (see photos), a little rust, mostly on 
rear pass. side quarter panel. Cracked windshield. As is common on these 
cars, the front crank seal leaks.

Somebody buy my car please--don't make me put it on eBay ;-)
