Description:
NO PICTURES.

My CGT was damaged enough in a rear-ender to be considered totaled.

The bad news is that the trunk and rear bumper are trashed, as well as a part of the right rear quarter. The front was smacked too, jamming the hood shut (broken cable) and cracking the in bumper turn signal lamps. The accel. cable is also non-functional.

The engine has HIGH miles

The good side is:

All the glass if fine.

The (black) wing is fine.

Passenger door is perfect, driver has previous dent.

The front fenders are "o.k.", but not perfect. Hood has a dent in the front.

The tranny was replaced with an 85K mile used unit, as well as the axles and CV joints, in 2001 (along with a new clutch disk, throwout bearing)

The engine still starts and runs fine.

The original rims are fine

The window regulators are fine (passenger unit cable jumped track, just needs to be put back on the pully).

Both door handles are smooth (not original).

In the past year, the car has had new ball joints, outer tie rod ends, "euro" heavy duty strut tower bearings, Boge Turbo-Gas struts all around, orbital vented brake disks, subframe bushings, both engine mounts, heavier swaybar, rear wheel bearings, DOT headlamps and corner markers (used), grill (used, not cracked), o.k. grey cloth seats from a VW Quantum, custom (homemade, welded) 2.25 inch cat back exhaust made from quality aluminized pipe w/ a MagnaFlow muffler in the center position, water pump, timing belt and a few other small items I can't think of right now.

The interior is decent, except that the passenger door panel was in the trunk during the wreck and is kind of wedged in there. Might have to trash it to get my stuff out of there.

The car rolls under it's own power (idle only, since the throttle is useless) and probably drives straight. It probably could be driven on the roads if I bothered to pry the hood up and fix the gas pedal.

I reserve the right to keep the non original steering wheel as a personal memento.

I'm going to miss her,

Doug
