Description:
PICTURES.
This is the early build 1989 200 quattro with the MC-1 Motor and K-26 turbo. 190K miles on the clock. Red exterior with black leather sport interior. The paint is original and in good condition with no major scratches or dings. The interior is in very nice shape, with no cracks or tears. The car has the cold weather package and both seat heaters work. All modifications were made by previous owners. The engine puts out 1.8 bar (13 lbs.) of boost so I assume it has the QLCC or similar chip. A boost gauge was added in the console next to the climate control display, it looks stock. It has a nice Momo steering wheel and shifter as wheel as a Nakamichi 6 disc in dash CD changer. The exhaust was increased to 3. The suspension has been upgraded with H&R Springs, Bilstien Struts and strut tower brace. PIAA driving/fog lights, with HI/LO settings have been installed under the front bumper. The car currently rides on 17x8 Konig rims with 215/45 Z-Rated Falken mud and snows.
All passenger and rear windows are tinted.
I bought this car a year ago from a local dealer at 170K miles with no records or history because the price was right. I did a timing belt/water pump/thermostat job around 172K. I have repaired the infamous foot-splice wire so the battery gets charged properly. Ive replaced some of the breather and cooling hoses as well as the after-run pump. Most recently I replaced the rear tie-rods and front strut bushings.
This car has been a great daily driver for the past year and I am finally looking to buy something new(er). I have maintained her as best I could and always changed the oil time. Im not trying to sucker anyone here since many of you have helped me maintain my Audis over the years. The turbo is getting a bit sloppy and the exhaust manifold is cracked. I have a rebuilt K-26, good manifold, new hardware and new gaskets ready to go on the car. The A/C has recently stopped working, but I am pretty sure it is just the blower motor. One of the ABS sensors probably needs replacement. The cruise control has never worked, but I havent made an attempt to look at it.
I am flexible on price and am willing to do the work to replace the turbo and manifold or include the parts at a discount. I am also willing to deliver within the southwest. Feel free to come look at the car if you are nearby. I will post better pictures soon.
