Description:
PICTURES.
I did (most of) the work, so you don't have to. Well, most of the hard work, at least. New Business Forces Sale of My Favorite Audi Highway Cruiser. 1991 200q20V. Full Boost, Good Tires, New Front Struts, Control Arms and Bushings, New SubFrame Bushings. New Rear Shocks and Control Arms. 4 New Wheel Bearings. New Rear Bose Amps. Recent Timing Belt, Water Pump, Ignition Wires (seems like they were $1,500 or so), Plugs (like, $950 each), Cap, Rotor, Crankcase Breather hose (Are you adding all these up in your head?). New Rear Brakes and Cables (have you replaced cables on a 20v? Thank god you won't have to on this one.). New Rear Brake Lines. New Shifter Bushings (I'd pay someone $300 to do that for me next time). A/C Converted to 134A. Driving lights to help see at night. No Cracks at the strut towers. UFO's Turned and perform well. Mobil 1, Redline, Premium Gas Only, Blah, blah, blah. The desire for a free weekend or two means the car is not perfect. Some dings,
and some rust above rear bumper. Some dripping from the dreaded rack area (waiting for sub-90 degree weather to tackle that one). But, overall very solid. This car as taken me on many 1,000+ mile weekends in the short time I've had her. Long-time Audi Owner -- 5th Audi, 3rd Quattro, 1 lost cause (Me). Many, Many hours spent reviving her after a previous neglectful owner. 240k miles. Owned since 213k. Price doubles if you plan on parting her out and transplanting her engine into your URQ, 4000q, 80q or, god forbid, your rustbucket 1972 100LS. Don't think I won't find out. Also willing to accept short-term business loans at exorbinant interest rates so I don't have to sell her. Will trade straight up for Mineah's 1500 hp bucket of bolts. Oh yeah, it's some sort of odd silver / blue color with a few hints of easily addressed rust. Mostly that odd silver / blue color, though. Has Comfort Seats, so Fay from Arizona, if you are listening, this could be your next car. Damn,
she needs an automatic. So close to a sale already. Build Date on door jamb unreadable -- willing to write in whatever you canucks want to sneak this baby across the border. Note: US Funds Only. Companion 88 80q and 92 VW Cabriolet also on the block.
