4000 quattros had always been the love of my life..not sure why but everytime I get inside of one for a drive, I always tell myself that if they made this exact car again, I would buy it in a heart beat. Okay, back to reality....I am selling mine

1987 4000CS Quattro. White with black Quattro script interior. 137k miles (working odometer). Exterior is very nice shape, with a few door dings hear and there. If you look closly below the rear fram quater window, you could see minor paint chips indicating that the rear quater panel had been repainted at some point but it was done long ago and the color matches perfectly. Interior in great shape with no rips. Comes with the superlight 15" Rota slightstream 4x108 seen in picture with 3k miles on new tires and original white Ronal's that will need tires soon. Mechanic owned it till 2003 until I bought it. I have owned this car twice..thats right, I bought  car, sold it to someone local and then bought it back when he put it up forsale. In the past 20k miles, approximately $5000 worth of work and parts had been put into the car (excluding the purchase price). 1)Clutch was done at 100k by the previouse owner due to bad pressure plate. 2) timing belt and water pump where done at 120k 3)
front control arms done at 110k and rear done at 130k 4) fuel pump and filter replaced 5) all four shocks replaced 5) newer plug wires, plugs, distributor cap and rotor 6) new exhaust system from cat back 7) k&n air filter and air box mod 8) light eletrical repairs hear and there 9)Redline MT90 in transmission 80/90 in differential 10)3 wheel bearings replaced 11)new Alpine CD player with four new speakers 11) new front driving lights added for increased night time visibility (3x better than headlight!) 12) injector seals and valve cover gasket replaced a while ago 13) IAC valve replaced with a good used part 14)newer brake pads 15) newer parking brake cables......i am sure I left out a bunch of other stuff.  The car runs great..start right up and settles to a even idle immediatly. Does not overheat or do anything abnormal. I would trust to drive this car out of state. Gets 20mpg around the city and 26-30mpg on the freeway. Very well sorted out 4000 quattro. Just passed smog with
flying colors. I have put alot of time, love and money into this car. Would like to sell it for $3500. Not open to negotiation.
