The usual K&N etc
3” exhaust CAT back (dual cats) (mild steel) with Dynaflow sport muffler, built and installed 2 months ago. It’s a bit loud for long journeys, I would add a resonator before the muffler.
H4 Euro headlights
Stereo – MB Quarts speakers and splitters all round, Kenwood amp, Bazookatube Sub and Kenwood 6 disk remote CD changer with remote control and remote LCD display(all hidden in rear with stock Audi head unit.) XM satellite radio installed with removable head unit (you will need to buy a subscription for $9.95 / month)
Bilestien rear shocks and standard height sport springs at all 4 corners. (Front Biliestiens were shot and were replaced last summer with Boge gas struts up front. I suspect the rear Bilestiens may have some water in them as they are overstiff and knock when cold –they still work great when warm, I intended to replace them before deciding to sell the car)

Recent Maintenance:

I just spent $2200 on the car at Force 5 Auto as I intended to keep the car for many years prior to changing my mind and buying a truck to tow my 5KTQ and Miata race cars. Details below;

1. Clutch, Flywheel and all related parts replaced
2. Rear Disks replaced
3. Front left caliper and rear left caliper replaced this month as unions broke when removing them to work on the suspension
4. Rear upper Strut mounts replaced with factory units
5. After run water pump replaced with factory new unit.

Other recent work: (within last 6 months) plus a bunch of other stuff but these were the biggies.

A) Timing belt and water pump
B) Front Struts Replaced
C) Rear Trailing arms replaced

The car is in excellent condition for the year and the area and is very rare. It is not a show car as it has been used throughout the winters its whole life, and has 200K miles on the clock, however it is pretty quick for a giant tank that you can carry your life around in. This car has been meticulously maintained with oil changes every 3000 miles. The vehicle uses no fluids. A good investment in a bit of classic Audi history, as well as a beautiful daily driver.

Known issues:

1. Body – The bottom of both front fenders has surface rust that should be attended to prior to another winter. I can do this at cost if needed. There are 3 small dents on the car (see photos caused by a previous owner apparently letting something repeatedly fall on the car in has garage (idiot). Front Drivers side fender was attacked by a Raccoon (I think) and has some scratches as if used as a scratching post. I would recommend re-painting the whole fender to remedy this and the surface rust on the lower back edge. The paint on the hood has the usual wear and tear of a car from 1991 with a few chips coming off of the clear coat. Tailgate has rust on the bottom edge due to filling with water over the years. I have a used replacement that needs painting the correct color.
2. Suspension – I would replace the rear shocks if I were to keep the car, although they still work fine I think I can feel some thudding when frozen, indicating water in there. I also feel a bit of ‘hammering’ over potholes from the rear.
3. Exhaust – new 3: exhaust is a bit loud, I would add a 3” resonator if keeping the car.
