I am seling my engine from my 1990 Coupe Quattro. Engine has 266k kilometres (160k miles?) and runs great. No oil burning, good compression, and no problems whatsoever.  The engine runs smooth and quiet, and can be seen, driven and tested in the car before I pull it out for an engine swap.  This will be complete with all goodies for swap, including; alternator, manifolds, wiring, ecu, etc...
This is a 20valve 5 cylinder 2.3 NON turbo.
