For sale is my 1990 v8 Quattro in very good physical & mechanical condition. Lago blue with grey Connally leather, 120,700 miles, Sony AM/FM/CD w/ 6CD changer mounted in trunk, playing through Polk speakers (no Bose!) – great sounding system. Both exterior & interior in great condition – no rust, a few small dings and scratches but far above average for a 15 year old. Leather and carpets in great shape – seats are supple, carpets clean, door panels great w/ the exception of a cracked speaker grill on driver’s panel. Cold air/warm heat (just the way we like it), absolutely no codes. Everything works, w/ the exception of the cruise control and only partial rear window defroster, although heated mirrors do work. Suspension is tight, steering spot on, absolutely no noises from suspension, drive train, fuel pump, etc. – nada/zilch/helemaal niets! And no oil or pentosin leaks. TB was changed at 79K -- had my mechanic check and he states it should be good for another 20-30K.

This is my 2nd v8Q – I have had it just over a year, and about 7K miles. I have had to purchase a SW for my production business, and the v8Q is just not getting used enough to warrant keeping it. Even though it was basically a very sound car when I purchased it, I am fairly anal when it comes to my cars and have put quite a bit of work and $$$$ to make it an exceptional, if stock, v8Q. Work (w/ receipts) includes: new front & rear rotors + pads (it had already been converted to G60); sunroof clean/adjusted (it was slooooow); upper & lower knock sensors; serpentine belt; valve cover & manifold  gaskets; crankcase breather hoses; new plugs & air filter; expert rebuild of driveshaft, which was noisy; front window switches; and 4 new Dunlop 225/60-15 SP2s + four wheel alignment. Last oil change and service @ 119,164. Serviced by Matrix and A&P Specialties here in Portland.

It is painful to sell this, as I looked for quite a while to find a v8 in this condition (and my favorite color combo), but it just doesn’t make sense for it to sit – it wants to be driven! – and so I know I’m taking a significant financial hit on it. Lots of pix available at:
