I have completed the gelcoated mold for making a CARBON FIBER S2 rear bumper cover.  This will be an EXACT replica in every way.  The mold has just been completed and is seen in the pictures below.  Construction is one layer of 2x2 twill (typical cosmetic CF finish) with an underlying layer of carbon/kevlar (kevlar is the same stuff used in bulletproof jackets!) fabric to give the bumper resiliance to cracking should it get bumped, making it very strong and stiff.  This is all coated with a high-gloss gelcoat and will be made to order with either factory CQ/B4 mounting or factory S2 mounting (including the blocks with embedded bolts for attaching, for those of you familiar).  I will not be making many copies and several have already been spoken for.  I originally planned on 6, but because of demand I will do up to 10 and that is it.  First 6 have already been spoken for and most have already paid.  Actual production will begin 1-2 (5/13 the latest) weeks from this weekend and
shipping out in order of payment received once the S2 2-piece front bumper mold is completed.  Only time your likely to ever see something like this ever come to market, cost to undertake this type of project is big and our motivation was to equip our own project cars. Price is $650 + shipping which will be determined based on buyers requests or locations of buyers (if buyers would like to pool shipping costs as has been done in the past)
