This car has been my baby for the last year and a half. I love this car. I’m selling it because I bought an S4. It is an 1989 80 quattro, with a 1989 200 10 valve turbo motor in it (MC1). The car has 227k on it, the motor has 120K. I bought the car from a mechanic that worked at Anderson Motor sport (head of the Quattro club) in December of last year. The car has been loved for its WHOLE life. I’ve never tracked the car. I’m the third owner and have receipts from day one, including the window sticker. I am only listing the performance parts on this page, because there are SO many regular parts replaced, it literally takes up three pages. Please call me with these details. This car is very fast (about 310 hp) but the reason for this car is the incredible suspension. One of the employees at our shop has a Lotus Elise (with a coilover kit) and my car is on par with it. I’m a mechanic myself and have taken superb care of the car.

This is the list I can remember, I’m sure I’m missing a few things. There is over 20K in this car and I know you can’t get your investment back, but I want this car to go to a GOOD home. Again please call me for detail on regular parts replaced. It does have A/C, it took a week to fabricate a bracket and all the lines. It blows out at 32 F. I just did a cylinder leakage test and the most I saw was 5%. At the same time a compression test was done and it was over 150 psi in each cylinder. Also an oil analysis and it came back perfect. 

Now the bad. The ABS doesn’t work. I’ve tried three different control units, replacing all the sensors, hooking it up to the computer, nothing. I’m not sure what’s wrong, I’ve given up. The headliner is falling down in the back, it is minimal however. The paint is a 6.5/10, it is a 17 year old car. The interior is almost perfect, except for very minimal wear on the driver’s side bolster. The Volt gauge is gone, it’s been like that since I’ve owned it. More picture available apon request.
