NO PICTURES.

Very reluctantly, I have to part with my trusted '87 4000S (not quattro). Alpine white, approximately 210 Kmiles and runs very well. I drove it for the last 8 years in New England, and it proved a very reliable car. Having spent its first 11 years in North Carolina, minor rust began appearing only two years ago around the wheels, the sunroof, and on the front hood. I have kept it in check since then, and it hasn't spread.
New within the last 25K miles: timing belt, accessory belts, water pump, front struts and mounts, left front brake disc, tires, some coolant hoses, trunk lid struts.
Problems: muffler leaking, needs new front bushings, engine uses approx 1qt oil/1000 miles, odometer stopped working at 160,199, AC, power mirrors and locks don't work. 
Power antenna and rear defroster work.
This would be a great project car for an Audi 4K enthusiast, or for parts. I will consider any reasonable offer.
