I hate to have to sell this great car. I am the third owner. The guy I bought it from bought it with 102,640 miles in April 2002. I flew down to Maryland and bought it in late June '04 with 110,000 plus miles. It now has about 128,500. I have almost all of its paper work including the window sticker (in a three ring binder). I even have a notebook with almost every gallon of gas I've put in it. The black material behind the front wheels was getting rough so I've had the black parts under the doors professionally redone. I'm selling it because it sits and I am making a change in my living situation and a truck fits my needs more. It has been chipped for less than 10,000 miles. I’ve replaced the radiator, distributor, shocks (Koni yellows), headlights (euros), and many other things. The second owner put a lot of time and money into the car before I bought it (all documented). The things that I know are wrong with it are—the interior light doesn’t come on when the rear driver side door
is opened (works with the other doors), the fast forward doesn’t work of the stereo, the brake light stays on for a short time after cold start up (the bomb has been replaced under my watch—I’ve been told that the system is working fine it just takes a little time to build pressure), and sometimes the speaker in the rear passenger door makes a crackle if the music has a lot of bass. It has a black interior with black comfort seats with working seat heaters. I have some S4 sport seats in it now (drivers heater doesn’t work). We can work something out if the buyer is interested. I planed to offer the seats separately along with a set of fare/nice sport seats—with the plan that the heater element could be salvaged and used in the better seats. Other than the seats—the listed price includes everything I have collected over my ownership. Such as—a spare set of euros that needs one lens, extra wood trim, another speedo, the bolts to make a Bernie brace, palm pilot with shade tree software
to check codes, a short shifter kit (uninstalled), and what every else I’ve collected. The exterior looks good. It shows its age with a few stone chips but over all it is nice and shiny. Interior is clean and the seats have no rips. Tires have many more miles. My pictures are too big to post. I can send you pictures of any part of the car. Thanks for looking—James
