As short as this love affair has been I just bought a 1983 Ur-quattro with
85k miles and the V8 has to go.

The car is high mileage, but still in good shape.
Drives very smooth.
Original paint.
Just had the brakes done, new rotors and pads F/R and rear calipers rebuilt/powder coated. (@ a cost of $950 for parts alone).
It has passed emissions just a month ago.
The transmission has been rebuilt about 10k ago.
It has fairly new all season tires (90% tread)
And brand new winter tires.
Two sets of rims.
250hp V8 engine (top speed 240km/h)
Automatic transmission (recently rebuilt).
Leather and power optional SPORT seats with 4-way memory.
Audi cell phone (with hands free).
Fully loaded with every available option.
Would make a perfect winter car.
Full time all wheel drive with Adaptive center and Torsen rear differentials.
Heated seats (front and rear), mirrors, windshield nozzles and door lock cylinders!!
Ski sack.
