I am looking for the electrical switch that mounts through the shift lever shaft and registers shifting to activate the reverse lights for my wife's 1995 A6 automatic (obviously). This has two monting holes, a splined shaft that the tranny shifting shaft fits through, and a round electrical connector. I think a friend has a good used one, but I'd like to have another on hand in case it isn't good (and he has it all apart).

Does anyone have a KNOWN TO BE GOOD one off of the car? If so, how much would you want for it? How soon could you send it?
