1987 VW Quantum Syncro Turbo Wagon. I'm selling my TQSW, it has a 10V Turbo (audi 200) motor in it. I bought it 5 years ago and it needed lots of work. I installed rebuilt head, exmanifold, new Fuel injectors/fuel rail, and had the haltech engine managament dyno tuned. (17psi) I installed shine racing springs and bilstein shocks all the way around, replaced all rubber suspension bushings, and subframe mounts. ($700 in parts) The car drives like a new 1987 quantum....I installed a larger dia. rear sway bar from passat syncro...Front seats are recaro out of jetta GLI. The bad news, the car had been in a hard accident before I bought it, and was pulled back straight (explains the fresh paint) The drivetrain and suspension are solid, and should be swapped into another QSW or partially swapped into a 4000.  (rear suspension is different) I am looking to sell this car to someone who is doing a turbo swap...it will need more modern Engine Mangagement (megasquirt or newer Haltech) the
haltech (F3 circa 1989) that is on it has died...The car has a Ur-Q intercooler installed in the fender witha motorcycle cooling fan drawing air through it...this car was a pleasure to drive untill the Haltech died. The unibody should be stripped and tossed as the previous owner's crash damage is not sound...make an offer come pick it up...
