Description:
NO PICTURES.
Maroon interior/Ecru interior, 192K miles. I bought this car back in October of 05. My original plan was to use it as my daily driver and winter vehicle and leave my BMW S2 M5 as the garage queen. I bought the car in Texas and had it shipped hear to IL, it had a bad headgasket at he time so I had to have it shipped up here. It went straight to my mechanics house and is now up and running. I have decided to buy a Porsche Cayenne Turbo so the S4 and M5 are both for sale. The car has the entire RS2 conversion which includes, five injectors that I believe are 310cc, a Rs2 mass air flow sensor,Rs2 exhaust manifold and a Rs2 camshaft. It also has a stromung turbo back exhaust, 993tt big brakes, short shifter(not sure which brand), H&R sport springs and Bilstein shocks, centerforce clutch and LW Aluminum flywheel, Samco hoses, clear sidemarker lenses, 18" Avus wheels form a 2005 S4, 17" Avus wheels with Blizzak tires from a 2001 S4, frontmount intercooler, and an aftermarket stereo
which consists of a different headunit and speakers but no subs in the trunk although the wiring is there you just have to add the euipment. The downfall of the car is that it is running on the stock ECU, the guy I bought it from went and swapped out the MTM software that was in the car before it was shipped to me. it runs very good but it is not boosting properly. I think once someone gets the right tuing done on the car then it will be very fast, its fast right now and thats just running stock boost. I also have just replaced the ignition cols, powersteering pump, and it has a new battery.
Here is what is bad on the car, driverside heated seat is not working, the boost gauge will not illuminate(the wire is there just not sure which wire I need to tap into, so I haven't touched it, and I believe it needs new tie rods on the front end(it makes a type of grinding noise when the whel is turned all the way.
Cosmetically the car is showing signs of age, it has some scratches and minor dings here and there. if you are going to try and make this thing look nice then I would surely have it repainted. the interior is in pretty good shape, no tears anywear just the normal wear on the leather. The front bumper insert had to be removed to fit the front mount intercooler so the bumper doesn't line up perfectly but the car has a bra which will cover the bumper anyway if you decide to leave it as it is. I have pictures of the car and I can email them to you just give me a call.
