Description:
NO PICTURES.
For sale: 1991 Audi Quattro 20V Sedan, Tornado Red with black leather interior, 163,XXXk miles. The Good: I've owned this car since March of 2002, and have invested over $6k in parts during that time. Maintenance/repairs since then include: timing belt at 122.5k miles; three of five fuel injectors; rt. front CV joint; new exhaust; new auxillary radiator; brake pressure accumulator at 132k; new front struts; new heater blower motor; new oil cover gasket. Oil changed roughly every 3k miles; synthetic 20W50 (Mobil 1; Castrol SynTec). Leather interior in excellent condition; interior generally clean. Heated, power seats both work; 14k on Yokohoma all-season radials. The Bad: Car needs still needs some work in several areas. Mechanically, it's begun to hesitate a bit, which is exactly what it's done when each of the other fuel injectors died. I suspect it needs the last two injectors replaced. The power steering pump makes noise at low speed when turning. The cars heater works
intermittently and the AC needs a recharge. The brake warning light is on again, which is what happened when the brake pressure accumulator died last time. It uses about a quart of oil every thousand miles. Cosmetically, the clear coat has begun to peel around the trim (door handles, sunroof, etc.). The side trim on the right is peeling on the passenger's side; the right front bumper bracket is loose. All in all, it's a fun car that needs a bit of work to be perfectly driveable again; we're expecting baby No. 1, and we don't have the resources to do the work. I'll be happy to e-mail high-res photos upon request. Asking $2,000 obo
