1984 UR Quattro Canadian Version 99500km (approx 62,200miles) This is a fine example of a late 1984 model year which Audi started to include 1985 updates. Exterior color is Oceanic Blue and interior is grey leather. One of 16 imported to Canada in 1984, and told to be the only one in this color. In fact, this color seems very rare throughout all URQ production years. Original owner, known individual in the Canadian rally community, took possession in November 1984 in Calgary AB. Evidently kept in a dry environment and paid attention to maintenance. He kept the car original, only changing the stereo to a Carver unit, deleting the cat and installing Eibach springs (original springs are included with the sale). The car was re-sprayed in the late 90s. It was sold to a mechanic/business owner in Feb 2003, who brought the car to St-Jérôme QC Canada. He drove the car in dry weather and kept the car original. I bought it in March 2005. This is the car I dream about owning back when I was in
high school with barely enough money to buy a R&T magazine. Since the purchase, I’ve had it regularly maintained at an Audi specialist garage in Montreal. In the last year, the AC was converted to new refrigerant; the water pump and timing belt were replaced. The head was rebuilt. I also replaced the rear gate lifts. The car is garaged kept and only driven on sunny days. The paint is close to 10 years old and has the normal superficial chips and nicks, but still shows well. Interior is also very nice. Tires are 225/50/15 Yokos mounted on the stock 8in Ronal wheels. Also included in the sale, is an extra complete Kevlar rear gate in the car’s color. This is no trailer queen, but a car that was cared for by mature owners. The evaluator described it best by saying: “It’s like a car you’d find on an Audi used car lot in the late 80s
