project "rat rod" is up for sale- 1984 4000s quattro, was tornado red then was sprayed with a good quailty black primer. body is in good shape, some dents but no rust. scirocco round quad H4 lights-have stock 85+ lights if desired

interior is clean, 85+ dash swap, clean 84 brown carpet. back half is stripped out but i can have it together is desired so. GTI steering wheel out of an mk1 

suspension consists of type 89 springs (way stiffer than factory 4kq) that have been chopped, and stiffer shocks. ride is very nice- better than my old 86 4kq with $600 worth of H&R and BOGE suspension work. it sits real low, but i have never scraped on our ****ty PA roads. it has 14inch ronal wheels with falken rubber.

engine has a kent cam, pulls very very strong for a JT 5cyl. I ran BG engine flush thru it about a month ago. no lifter tap at all. this car will hang with NG/NF 2.3 5cyl. it has the VERY desirble early 84 close ratio tranny.

the car has many 86-87 4kq parts:
- 85+ dash swap
- 85+ side skirts
- 85+ big front bumper

i would like to get $1,200, or $1,500 with the 2 1/2 ANSA exhaust
