I can’t believe I’m typing these words. I have really agonized over this decision: Up for sale is my 1995.5 S6, green with ecru. The car has about 86,800 miles on it. I bought it to drive, but it seems to have taken on the role of garage queen, so it’s time for it to go to a new home; to someone who will drive it. If you are looking for a fast, comfortable, fully sorted S6 in truly excellent condition with the best features of all the urS years combined, this is your next car. This car is well known to other S owners in the New England area, and I have received tons of complements from those who know what it is. You will not find a nicer urS car on the East Coast.

I bought the car in late winter 2004 in Los Angelos, California and had it transported back to Connecticut. The car was in great shape, but totally bone stock. In the past 2.5 years, I have carefully and completely transformed this car into a fire breathing beast
maintaining its stealthy character, of course.

The engine has be upgraded to full RS2; exhaust manifold, turbo, injectors and MAF with an IA chip to run them. Samco hoses have been fitted along with an 034 front mount intercooler. A full Stromung Generation IVstainless exhaust replaced the stock pieces.

The transmission is the stock 95.5 five speed with the wider first gear, so no issues or strange noises found in earlier models. The rear differential has been replaced by a V8 torsen differential. Both the trans and diffs run Redline synthetic gear oil. Both front outer CV boots were replaced at 83k.

The front brakes have been replaced with the ECS Stage II kit: Euro A8 rotors with Porsche 993tt calipers. The suspension has been upgraded to H & R Race springs with Bilstein Sport shocks and ECS camber plates. I also used Pederson plates to add a rear sway bar from an S6 avant. This helps keep the car flat in the corners and limits understeer. The tires are brand new (less than 500 miles) Kumho Ecsta MX mounted on Fuchs 16x8 rims. The car was aligned with no issues at 85k.

Other performance mods included the TDS-1 boost gauge which is integrated into the autocheck (much nicer than the pod mounted gauges that tend to attract police and ricers) and an upgrade to the C5 HID projection xenon headlights.

Cosmetic mods include carbon fiber interior trim (from a 1993 S4) and the extended hood prop rod (1993 only), as well as the S6+ Euro center taillight section. The stock stereo has been upgraded to an Audi Concert stereo with the Phatnoise MP3 system.

There is little on this car that has not been touched or improved in some way, but great pains have been taken to preserve the stock look and stealthy character. The windows are not tinted, the rims are stock (and in excellent condition), the FMIC piping is carefully hidden behind the grillwork. All modifications were done in my shop by me. I am a former ASE Master Technician with 8 years VAG experience. Maybe I am selling since I have run out of mods?

I am asking $15,900 for this car. It’s worth it. Please don’t lowball me or come to my house to kick my tires and beat on my car. This is a clean, fully modded, well sorted urS car will low mileage, a rare bird. Please contact me via email if you are interested.
