NO PICTURES.

Very reluctantly, I have to part with my trusted '87 4000S (not quattro). Alpine white, approximately 210 Kmiles and runs very well. I drove it daily for the last 8 years in New England, where it proved a great car. It had spent its earlier life in the South (North Carolina), so some rust started appearing only about two years ago around the wheels, the sunroof, and on the front hood (I will add pictures).
Problems: muffler leaking, needs new front bushings, engine uses approx 1qt oil/1000 miles, odometer stopped working at 160,199, AC, power mirrors and locks don't work. Power antenna and rear defroster work.
New within the last 25K miles: timing belt, accessory belts, water pump, front struts, left front brake disc, tires, some coolant hoses, trunk lid struts.
This would be a great project car for an Audi 4K enthusiast, or for parts. I will consider any reasonable offer.
