You will not find a cleaner example of a 1981 Audi Coupe GT.  1981 was the very first year of this style, and there aren’t many around as I’ve never seen another 1981. Similar to the rare 4000 5+5 and Ur-Quattro.  More unique and much nicer than a VW Jetta/GTI.  Audi enthusiast owned! Owned many Audis before, and has been well cared for.  Tons of character, gorgeous 80’s black/gold color combo, and excellent condition throughout.  I’m only selling it due to picking up a 1987.5 Coupe GT Special Build.  I wish I could keep them both but school bills are stacking up….

Always run premium fuel, oil changes every 3k.

Extremely rare German Kamei brand X-1 body kit (sides only) – needs painted.
Leather Interior (Porsche style - Identical to UrQuattro) No rips or tears - Perfect.
14” Enkei gold rims with newer 70% remaining sport tires
2.2 Liter 5-cylinder Fuel Injected.
161k – Odometer intermittently sticks for last 2k- needs cleaned or a new cable?
5- Speed manual transmission – new clutch cable
Factory leather shift knob & leather wrapped steering wheel
SkyLift glass moonroof - tilt and removable
Manual windows, Rear Defog, Rubber Rear Spoiler, Audi mud flaps 
Rear wiper/washer, Tight E-brake
Cruise Control – doesn’t work…
Both door handles work fine
Updated 80’s Pioneer AM/FM/Tape (removable deck) sounds decent.
Factory optioned with Audi balancer/fader knob
Air Conditioning –Condenser cracked at intake fitting. Everything else is good.
Auxiliary center console gauge cluster (Voltage, Oil Pressure, Oil Temperature)
Even comes with original Audi keys! (I love original keys.)
