I don't actually need the thermostat.  I'm looking for the aluminum adapter from the block to the  coolant hose.  I've got an ABZ A8 engine and the thermostat adapter is larger than the 3.6L and early 4.2L engines.  I recently bought an early 3.6L/4.2L thermostat to radiator hose and it's smaller than the A8 setup.  If the price is right I'd consider buying it.  What's nice about the early hose is that it gives me more space for a spal fan.  This being said it's not the biggest deal if I don't get one because the a8 hose that I have is kinda ok.
