I built this car for the track. It's an absolute blast and runs with the biturbo and V8 S4s no problem. I've caught and passed a lot of serious machinery with this car. And it gets tons of attention in the paddock even with it's current need of a repaint. The body is solid, never lived in the rust belt. It's an '85 so the fuse box and electrics are much improved over the older cars. I rebuilt, upgraded and installed a 3B from a '91 200, following a racer/turner's proven formula with Carrillo rods, Raceware fasteners and all fresh factory bearings and gaskets. The engine has 2 years and 6-8k miles, should be good for 1000 track hours which is 10+ more years of ACNA days like I was doing. It has big StopTech brakes, 2Bennett adjustable coilovers, Recaro SRD seats, 17" BBS wheels and more. Makes in the neighborhood of 350 hp with a K26/27 hybrid turbo and all the RS2 parts and a chip from IA. The transmission is the original, bombpoof 016 and works fine. There is a list of small
details like the windshield washer and back-up lights, nothing major just little things that are a pain on the street. All could be sorted out reasonably. Or it's set and ready right now for track days with good tires and pads and fresh oil. Tons of spares available. Sale of this project is forced and I'm open to offers.
