Selling due to taking a transfer south... want to buy a convertible.  My loss is your gain!  I paid 3k for the car and then spent a lot to upgrade Exhaust and Suspension. 

Pearl with black interior. Very early build car - VIN in the 400s (non-airbag, parcel shelf) with all the advantages: 170hp w/tubular manifold, lighter weight. Car has 195k miles, but very well maintained by Audi mechanic (last 100k) with ALL records. Everything important has been done (metal breather, etc) Recent Timing belt, Vbelts, water pump, four NEW struts and front springs 1k miles ago (rear on the way). New brake lines and fuel lines. European headlamps. A/C converted to R134 and nearly all new. Only mods are a new cat back exhaust and clear corner lights. Only need: Rear hatch could be adjusted. Minor rust in a few spots, planning to take care of this spring. Stock Speedlines with winter tires, will need summer tires in the spring. Could use alignment, have been waiting for the rear spring install. 

Love this car and the sound. Will miss it. Lots of interest so far, no takers just yet. Prefer selling to someone who will keep it up and appreciate the rarity of the early build cars.

A like new drivers seat, two spare ISCs, and a climate control unit come with the car.  I am parting separately a metal radiator and a metal gear distributor.
