Description:
NO PICTURES.

One of the ~ 325 imported in 1983, 207k (working odo!!!). I'll list the bad first - needs a headgasket, driveshaft center support bearing (have spare shaft), splice to a weaping fuel line by back left wheel (no big deal), fuel gauge recently stopped working but guessing it's a corroded connection, clock doesn't work, diff locks don't work (rear used to but recently stopped - I may have knocked off a vacuum line while under there), and has a marginal but serviceable ("good from far") repair to the left rear quarter from an "oops" in the snow. Looks good enough, really, enough so I still drove it to the office without appearing TOO homeless / jobless / wifeless. Rust bubble on corner of right rear tail light and around license plate lights, slight rust along bottom inside edge of left rear door.

Now, the GOOD, and there is plenty of it. Car ran *exceptoinally* strong, as well as *exceptionally* tight and solid, would happily cruise all day every day @ 95 and rev'd freely getting there. Previous owner was a mechanical engineer and was fanatical about maintenance. Recent manifold repair to remedy leak. Car had 2 previous repaints and there is maybe 2 dings in it, tho clear coat peeling on trunklid. Looks really decent compared to most you see. Interior is , which is a REAL rarity in these. Dash has slight cracking but not bad, 2" exposed piping on driver inner bolster, otherwise the interior is MINT. All door handles and windows work (cranks for rears!), tilt and slide power sunroof works, power antenna works, heater fan works, ebrake works tho one side weak, all interior and exterior lights work, short shift kit with tight shifter bearings, UrQ leather steering wheel and shift knob (not pictured).

Basically, car was really well sorted, strong and solid, prior to the head gasket going. Did NOT overheat, still runs fine just compressing overflow bottle. Have more spare parts than I care to admit that go with it, including (3) sets of Ronals with flush centercaps as well as black octagonals. Decent 185 Hakk's on it now, decent 195 Coopers on another set, beater tires on another. One set brown OE steel wheels with agricultural 175 Armstrong Norseman snows, and one set Saab 900T Ronals with 215 BFG's (look similar to 4kq Ronals but cooler). Decent '85 flush headlights and buckets, extra '84 tranny, 2 doors, near full interior, etc. etc. etc.

No time nor desire to part it really, and that would be a shame for such a decent car. PERFECT candidate for 3b conversion and / or fix it to make a Rally Cross / hillclimb / ice racing car. That was its destiny here, but 3 kids a wife, house, a TR3 and an //S8 and something's gotta give - ala byebye 4kq. Car will make someone happy, make me happy by getting it outta here before I set it afire and dance naked around it Pagan-style. Yeah.
