Up for sale is a TorSen rear differential install kit for use in a number of Audi vehicles from the mid 80s to the mid 90s. What you get: used Torsen rear differential from Audi V8 quattro, ring gear bolts, ring gear for 4.11 FD, one large rubber seal ($75!) and the NLA 100mm output flanges it takes to use this diff in a number of other differential casings. The install can be done in 4-5 hours with the right tools and is a significant upgrade in making your Audi understeer LESS!

The torsen diff is the preferred limited-slip differential for a number of modern vehicles and comes standard in a number of cars, from Miatas to Toyota pickups to military Hummers and of course, Audis. Unfortunately, Audi only saw fit to install them as a rear-diff in the large D-chassis V8 of the early 90s while they continue to pervade Audi drivetrains to this day as a center diff. This differential is purely mechanical and transfers torque to whichever axle provides the most resistance. This results in increased grip and a more rear-ward handling balance for your Audi. 

The parts included are what you need to install this differential into an 017 casing differential - this includes the rear diff found in 84-87 4000q, 82-87 Ur-Q, 88-92 80/90q, 90-91 CoupeQ, 93-95 90Q. I have theorized it can also work in B5 A4 (not S4) as it too uses the same original differential spool. The only difference would be the seals requires. The output flanges included are no-longer-available and are now difficult to source. Pick up this whole kit for less than the price of just the differential. 

I'm looking to clean out the garage and make some extra money QUICKLY to fund a trip to California to pick up my next car. The New Old Stock diff mount for Typ 85/89 is not included at this price.
