Description:
PICTURES.

This is a 1984 Audi racecar. I built it with the intent of racing rally, however, it would be very easy to turn it in to a competitive track car. In the past year I have fully restored the body, put in KYB struts, as well as virtually all-new suspension components. Other modifications include: a custom built roll-cage valued at 5,000 dollars, matching Sparco seats with custom mounting that is adjustable on the driver’s side and fully mounted in the cage, G-Force Racing 7 point restraints, external halogen lamps, a fully stripped interior, K&N air filter, as well as countless modifications to reduce weight. As for the drive train, it is the stock 5 cylinder with 115,000 miles tied to a short-ratio gearbox, and locking diff. I kept the original motor because I wanted to race in the GT class, but if you know this type of Audi you know that it is very easy to swap motors with a 20v turbo. This simple modification will make this car un-stoppable.

I am selling this car, because I am moving to New York City, where I will not have any cars. It kills me to see it go, but I would rather it be in the hands of someone who would drive it, then it sitting in my grandma’s shed.

The car has never been raced, and I have only put a few miles on it in the time I have built it.
