Description:
PICTURES.
OK, I am beginning the liquidation of all my Audi stuff in order to recocile my debt. This was a VERY hard decision as it includes years of parts, rarities, tools and cars (3 to be exact). This is the first car to go on the block and what I considered my baby. I am looking for reasonable offers considering the condition, equipment, etc. A lot of you have seen photos of this car at some point or another and it is well known who it belongs to. Anything is negotiable but I am not in a position to necessarily take a flogging on it and if it comes to that the car will go to eBay.
Here is a full list:
Body modifications:
- RS2 fiberglas front bumper
- S2 OEM rear bumper
- newly replaced lower rubber mouldings
- Carbon Fiber Fiber Images B4 Hood
- RS2 Hella OEM ellipsoid headlamps
- 6K HID lighting
- Legal (CT state) window tint (black)
- rear wiper delete
- newer whip antenna swap
- badge delete on rear except audi rings
- body color keyed lower mouldings and mirrors
- recently replaced drivers wiper arm with fin
Interior:
- 4" dash speakers replaced with top-of-the-line Pioneer 2-ways in factory location
- 5.25" components replaced with Pioneer 2-way compnents in factory location
- radio has been removed (installed in my daily driver)
Mechanical:
- 2 years ago nearly EVERY bushing in the car was replaced (factory parts) in an overhaul. This includes rear diff mount, R/L rear diff mounts, both tranny mounts, both engine mounts...along with that all tie rods F/R were replaced with new ones, new ball joints all around as well.
- repaired weaping fuel line
- cat gutted and replaced
- custom cat back shop exhaust (stainless steel tubing, european end muffler)
- 034 injector replacement
- 034 poly snub mount and bracket
- Mocal 13row oil cooler
- Canton Mecca aluminum oil filter
- 93 gas run ALL THE TIME
- synthetic Mobil 1 ALL THE TIME
- powdercoated intake manifold
- wrapped exhaust mani (bag o snakes)
- new gasket set (upper block)
- recently replaced power steering pump
- iridium spark plugs
- magnecor R-100 wires with friction sheathing
- optima red top battery
- Jamex front strut bar
- brass distributor gear
- A/C equipment delete (to the firewall)
- aux radiator delete
- SOLID aluminum MANCE strut mounts, all 4 corners
- deleted cruise control
- some more minor stuff
the bad:
- front struts are shot and need to be replaced
- drivers window reg inop (going to have this fixed as part of the sale)
- headliner dropping
- rear muffler has dropped and car is loud
options (these are parts in my possesion meant for the car but obviously never made it on and can be negotiated as extra on top of the value of the car):
- black alcantara S2 steering wheel (new)
- RS2 MPH white speedometer (new, 1 mile from factory) (VERY RARE)
- roll of black alcantara to redo interior pillars and headliner with (new)
- H&R springs to drop the ride height and firm up the suspension
- Jet Hot coated bag of snakes exhaust manifold with custom welded v-band clamp
- custom (my shop) stainless tubing and rear muffler for one-off exhaust system (meant to be used with coated bag of snakes above) (all new parts) (ONE OF A KIND)
- black chrome weighted shift knob (new)
- coolant resevoir (new)
- Hella micro DE fogs for outer openings in RS2 bumper (new)
- Billet aluminum battery tie down (new, for battery relocation to rar of car or under rear seat)
- K&N ram air intake setup (new)
- idle control valve (VERY RARE and NEW)
- RS2 hub set and rear ebrake (this is basically a factory Audi part with Prosche 5x130 bolt pattern to fit any Porsche wheel and rear brake setup will allow Porsche brake calipers at all 4 corners which currently cant be done since rear porsche calipers eliminate the CQ's style ebrake) (EXTREMELY RARE)
- samco elbow for intake tract (new)
- 044 Bosch motorsports high flow fuel pump (new)
- replacement faux studs for factory wheels (RARE and needed to refinish the factory wheels)
- 91 CQ glass roof assembly (meant to replace the factory steel roof {which works btw])
- torsen rear diff (from a Audi V8, adds more stable cornering and relatively hard to come by in good shape)
There might be more odds and ends but that is the majority of it! It it wasnt mentioned, there are no issues with it. I am a VW/Audi mechanic and former shop owner and have looked over and treated this car that way. As I said before, I was in the middle of building a shop and business in this industry.... This car was meant to be the signature vehicle for the shop and a show n go type car, hence all the crazy options. I have included a pic of the interior, oil cooler and engine bay also. Go over it all and let me know what you think. You are getting an opportunity to have a go at the car before it gets listed. I suspect I very high level of interest once I put this on the market based on current work and potential option parts.
Mileage is 177K... very low for this model.
