1987.5 Audi Coupe GT 10vt

Located in Pennsylvania...near
Harrisburg
Gettysburg
Carlisle
York

Owned this car 4 years now
Has 210k miles

Some of you might know (from Audiworld) I was doing a 10vt MC2 engine swap.

Engine build
MC2 block (98k miles)
Energy Suspension Polyurethane Mustang Tranny Mount (Engine Mounts)
NG Head (mildly ported) (it's got 40mm intakes)
NG Intake Manifold (Unique to the NG Head)
K26 Turbo
SPEC Stage 2 240mm Clutch Kit
Stock MC oil cooler (mounted under horns)
Aux Radiator
Aux Waterpump (Still haven’t gotten this wired in yet)
Urq Igloo
MC2 CIS
Custom CGT Airbox
Dual S4 Intercoolers (1 mounted behind firewall under stock hood vent & 1 mounted directly below turbo facing the ground)
ARP Head Studs
20vt Metal Head gasket
Running stock plug wires
NGK Spark plugs
Multiple Spring Adjustable BPV
MAC14 w/2.2BAR chip (17+ PSI)
Adjustable Wastegate Spring (bolt in top of wastegate)
As you know the 10vt are NOT crossflow heads meaning both the IM & EM are both on the same sides. Well the point of intercoolers is to cool the air, well having the intake manifold right above the exhaust manifold is gonna heat up the air anyway so....
I wrapped the exhaust manifold, downpipe & hot side of turbo with Thermotech header wrap and..
Wrapped the bottom of the 2 piece Intake Manifold, intercooler piping (that runs right next to the downpipe & by the wastegate) with Thermotech heat shielding. Also wrapped the starter as well. You got to keep it cool.

Suspension (Needs To Be Installed)
2B Coilovers
350lb front springs
250lb rear springs
Koni adjustables struts
Ubernugen Meyle Upper Strut Mounts
I have a big sway bar, that I was going to mount in the rear, just haven’t got around to it yet.

Exhaust (Needs To Be Installed)
Stock Downpipe 2.5"
3" High Flow Thunderbolt Catalytic Converter
3" Borla XR-1 Muffler
3" 90 degree bend out in front of drivers rear tire

Brakes
Stock

Wheels
Stock 14" Ronals for now

Lighting
Stock
I have some things for fog lights, but it still needs work.

Body
Stock (Tornado Red)

Some extra stuff
Interior is all stock Grey
AutoLoc 75lb Door Poppers. You don’t need door handles to open the car doors, just a remote.
Battery in trunk.
New Sunroof seal.
It has the hookup for a digital dash, but I wired 94 Audi 90 w/trip computer instrument cluster. It works well, I didn’t figure out a way to mount it yet. I also have a

Problems with the car,
The radiator fan keeps turning on when I turn the key to start. Prolly easy fix with a wire. I didn’t have time to address it.
Car runs, but it hasn’t been driven for a while
The rear main seal needs replaced. I was in a hurry and forgot to replace it, and it’s a costly mistake as the oil may have damaged the clutch.

Everything else works fine. I miss working on it. I’d love to finish the car, but I’m in the military, and I’m constantly moving around and don’t have the time or space. I’m not looking for a lot of money, just a good home.

That’s most of the details I can pick out, if you have specific questions I’m sure I can answer them. I also have 3 different Bentley manuals I’ll throw in there as well.

I’m looking for serious buyers only. I don’t have much time to sell this. I come home August 4th.

Thanks for looking,
Craig
