Description:
PICTURES.

2001 Audi A6 Quattro (AWD), 2.7t 250hp, V6 DOHC with a stunning 258 lb/ft of torque driven through a 5-speed Automatic Transmission with Tiptronic. This example has 84,000 miles, serviced only by factory authorized Audi dealership technicians and has been impeccably maintained. I am the second owner, purchasing this Audi Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) from an Audi dealer. The CPO Warranty, based on a 300 point inspection, is transferable (for a nominal fee of $150) and ends on May 31, 2007 or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

The exterior is Ming Blue Pearl in very good to excellent condition, with a Tungsten Grey Advance Leather Interior in exceptional condition; the results of a pampered life and indoor parking at both home and at work In addition to the very impressive list of standard A6 luxury features, this example is liberally equipped with the following option packages – Premium Package (Multi Function Steering Wheel, Xenon Headlights, Auto-Dimming In/Outside Rearview Mirrors), Cold Weather Package (Heated Front & Rear Seats, Ski Sack), Preferred Luxury Package (Glass Power Sunroof, HomeLink Remote, Leather Seat Upholstery, Seat/Mirror Position Memory) and Bose Premium Sound System (with integrated, optional PhatNoise 20 gig MP3 player) and Power Window Shades. In short, this car has every factory option available for the 2.7t in 2001, except Navigation and the Sport Package.

As an Audi enthusiast, I’ve upgraded the suspension to the Eibach Pro-System, a precisely balanced combination of dampers and sport springs designed and tuned to operate as an integrated system; the results are amazing. Should you desire the stock suspension, it is available. The wheels have been upgraded to the Sport Package 16-inch 5 spoke cast alloy wheels, with new (November 2006) Avon Tech M550 A/S 225/55ZR tires. One wheel has some curb rash, as does the spare. I’ve also added a lip spoiler to the trunk for that added touch. In January 2007, I had a brand new windshield installed…the view is wonderful.

I have the complete service history of this vehicle, and all servicing has been performed by a factory authorized Audi technician. The factory Maintenance Schedule has been faithfully followed, and I have only used Mobil 1 oil. In August 2006, the Timing belt, serpentine belt, belt tensioners, water pump/gasket, cam seals, cam adjuster gaskets, spider valve, spark plugs, turbo bypass valves and valve cover gaskets were replaced. Other 2006 maintenance included both CV boots and tie rods.

As you can see, this car has been pampered for the long run, as I typically keep my cars to nearly 200,000 miles. But unexpectedly, I found 2001 A6 2.7t with a six-speed manual transmission that I could not resist, and that makes it desirable to sell my current ride. During my ownership, this car has been very much pampered, maintained and has not seen a smoker or a pet. You’ll be hard pressed to find a cleaner, better maintained example of a 2001 A6 2.7t.
