The car is an '87 Audi 4000 CS Quattro. It runs well as I used it as a commuter car from Kennewick to Walla Walla every day. It gets around 25-30 mpg on the highway. I feel it is reliable, however there are a few issues. 

When the car is not driven for 3 days, the battery will be dead. I figured out there is a draw, but I don't have time to try and trace it. I suspect it may be the headlight switch as it needs to be jiggled back and forth to get the lights on. I installed a battery kill switch to prevent drain. I have been told the Hella lights work, but the relay has been disconnected and I didn't try to hook it back up. The last owner said the battery was replaced last summer. 

The A/C works, although it doesn't quite keep up during the hottest days. The heater started blowing cold air through the center vents and hot air through the side vents. I haven't looked at the problem at all and I'm not sure if a clip came loose or what. 

The instrument panel is loose as the past owner removed it and lost most of the screws. It doesn't affect anything, it just rattles from time to time. The odometer is broken, 225k is my best guestimate for the mileage. 

The radio is wired to a 100w amp and Sony Xplod speakers in the rear. I'm not sure what is in the front. The radio is broken, only the cd player works. No buttons work except for the volume so you have to listen to the cd without skipping tracks or changing the audio properties. 

The body is pretty clean. The tires are pretty new. Good tread and they're from Les Schwab so there's free rotation. There is a small dent on the hood, and two small rust spots on the left rear. There is also a crack in the win dshield. The pictures show all of this. 

The interior is worn, but clean. There are no tears in the upholstery, only discoloration.
