Description:
PICTURES.
These wheels are made by "Privat" which is Konig's high line of luxury wheels. The model is "Reserve", a 7 split spoke design. They have a forge gray
charcoal finish with rough, sand-blasted texture and little to no shine. The lip is polished and 2" wide all the way around. The rim diameter is 19" and the width is 8" with an offset of 40ET. There are 235/35/19 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW tires mounted on them which have about 70% tread left, from what I can tell.
The wheels themselves were barely used for a couple months or so, they are completely flawless, just as I bought them (that means no bends, no curb rashes, no cracks, not even a scratch). As a matter of fact the only flaws are on the tires themselves which I received used from one of my friends. One of the tires has a bit of curb rash on the "rim protector" and one of the tires has a few rubbing marks on the outer wall.
When the tires were mounted I didn't notice these flaws but if I was going to keep the wheels I'd swap the two tires around so the flawed walls could face the inside of the car (they are uni-directional), that way you'll never see it and have perfect looking tires. This is not a big issue in any way, I just want to be completely straight forward about their condition.
I ran these wheels on my old B5 S4 but the fenders were rolled and the brake pads were very low (stock calipers are of a "floating" design). On an A4 you will have no problem running these wheels but an S4 with fresh pads is going to most likely need an 8mm spacer, 5mm won't do it (already tried), and of course some well rolled fenders.
I have provided detailed pictures of each wheel, each tire (and flaws) and many pictures of the wheels as they were on my 2000 S4. I just picked up another S4 (2002 Imola) and I'm going in a different direction than I did with my black one so I want to buy new wheels for it. Each wheel includes OEM Audi center caps, bolt caps (with puller) and centering rings.
Each wheel costs $225 from Discount Tire and each tire costs $188 at Tire Rack. That's a total of $1652 before mounting/balancing and without the center caps and bolt caps. My asking price is $1199/obo. I would much rather sell these locally but I won't turn down a serious out of state buyer. I figure shipping is going to be about $150. Best way to contact me is by phone at 301 613 0830 (cell) or if you aren't in a hurry you can e-mail me at audisport44 at hotmail.com . Posting on here will most likely get you the slowest response.
