PICTURES.

A new addition to my family forces the sale of my quattro.  This California car is a very nice example of the historic Turbo quattro.  A significant amount of restoration has been done, with great care to keep a stock feel and appearance.  The car runs very well, is very powerful, and handles superbly.  The motor and turbocharger have 54,000 miles on them, and have always been driven carefully.  The drivetrain is solid and smooth.  The electrical system has been thouroughly addressed (a common weakness on early quattros), and high amperage items have been properly fused, and relayed.  The interior is very nice, with recovered tan seats, '85 style dashboard (original center console retained to allow the stock diff lock control to be used...see pic).  The carpets have some fading due to age.  The exterior shows no rust, and the paint is in good to fair condition, with some areas being touched up a bit.  Rare Fuchs rally wheels (stock Audi upgrade) are installed and in good condition
with new tires.  Here is a list of major items replaced within the last 30K miles: Clutch, throwout bearing, timing belt, water pump, thermostat, crankshaft seals (front and rear), complete exhaust system, catalytic converter, Dialynx ehaust manifold (heat cycled and machined to prevent warpage), new OEM radiator shrouds, brake master cylinder, front brake calipers, disks, pads, and lines, fuel injectors and seals, fuel pump, fuel accumulator and filters, all coolant hoses, heater core and all hoses, Lewis firewall brace, driver's window regulator and both switches, battery, 02 sensor, Boge front struts, front control arm bushings, Vacuum lines and hoses, and shifter bushes.  The air conditioning system has been removed.  The power mirrors, locks and center differential lock control are in need of attention however.  Over all, this car is dependable, and could easily be used as a daily driver.  The sale of this car will also include a factory remanufatured KH code (turbo) complete
