I bought this turbo used about four years ago from someone on this list.  I was told that Majestic Turbo from Texas upgraded the compressor wheel.  With sixteen vanes, the compressor wheel is definitely not the stock wheel.  I believe the hot side is a number 8 (but I am not sure).  The number was machined off when the housing was ported.  The number on the blue plate on the turbo is 5236-970-6411.  The hot side measures .61 on both in and out.  Also, the compressor measures .75 on the exducer (outer side) and .51 on the inducer (inner side).  The center has 552-?-2699 stamped on it.  I don't know what the middle number is.  The turbo is water cooled as well.  I thought that this turbo was a k26/27.  However, I have not been able to confirm that the compressor wheel is from a K27 - I have not been able to find anything that states that k27 wheels come in excess of 14 vanes.  I don't know what manufacturer built the compressor wheel and Majestic could not tell me much about it
because I did not have the invoice when I called them.   Majestic does swap larger compressor wheels into k26s.  I paid $400.00 for the unit, the way it is. I have never installed it in my car, so I cannot tell you much about its performance.  In looking at it under a light, it looks like the hot housing has a slight crack inside.  I was going to transfer the cold side to my number 6 hot side, but I've decided to sell it instead.  Given that the inside of the hot housing needs to be replaced, I will sell the unit for $200.00 shipped within the continental US.
