This is a Miller HF-251D-1 in excellent condition, it is a portable High Frequency arc starter for TIG Welding aluminum, stainless steel and steel on the job or in the shop with 1/4" or 3/8" capability. Powered either by portable gas, diesel, propane driven welder or a shop powered welder and 110V. 

This item costs over $1000.00 new. Asking $500.

Portable 250 amp, 60% duty cycle unit adds high-frequency to the welding circuit to help start the arc when using the TIG process. 

Description: 
A portable 250 Amp 60% Duty Cycle High Frequency arc starter and stabilizer. Designed to increase the flexibility of most AC, DC or AC/DC constant current arc welding power sources and generators. The unit impresses high frequency on the welding circuit to aid in starting and stabilizing the arc for the TIG Welding process. With the addition of an HF unit, your constant current power source can handle welds on aluminum, magnesium, thin stainless steel, brass, copper and a wide variety of both ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.
