Description:
NO PICTURES.

I need these cars gone due to some unexpected expenses. Lets start with the 90. Its a 1993 90q with aprox 115k on the clock. Tornado red on black sport interior I bought it as a fixer upper for 1100$ so that i could use it as a winter car last year. It had bent valves due to the timing belt skipping some teeth. I bout it that way. Uppon further inspection i noticed it had a AFC engine code engine from a newer vintage 90. I proceeded to remove the heads and rebuilt fully them. Pistons looked fine. The car actually ran with the bent valves so there were only two very small maks on the piston tops. Included in this build were new guides, seals, replaced the 3 bent left side exhaust valves, new headgasket, new IM and EM gaskets. Also brand new timing belt, tensioner, roller, serp belt, water pump, thermostat and flushed the whole system and replaced the coolant with the correct g11 coolant (blue) also installed a new reservoir and installed a new g62 coolant temp sensor. Additionally i
flushed the power steering system. I also transfered a Mance XTB throttle body from my old 90. Flows twice as much air as stock. Also a 3" home brew silicone air intake from stock airbox to the throttle body. the car also has very desired RS2 ellipsoid headlights with McCulloch HID's, they are installed in the car but i havent had time to cleanly wire the ballats up, i hate to cut corners and hack up the wiring so i didnt get to wiring them yet. Original lights with clear corners will also come with the car. It also has a genuine RS2 front grille (not Kamei). The car starts right up, scanned it for codes with Vag-Com and has no faults. Ran BG 44k fuel system cleaner as well. Didnt get to register the car but drove it up and down the street to make sure it drove ok since it got trailered to my house. As i said i have alot of money into it but i need it out of here. It needs someone with a bit more time to finish it up. I will not part it tho as i dont have the time even though its
prolly worth more that way, but with a bit of time it can be a pretty decent daily driver for the price. Alot of time went into this car. please e-mail for pics asking price is 1600 firm.

As for the 4000q, its a 85 Zermat silver on '87 Quattro script interior with heated seats which are currently disconnected. the car has just over 150k and ran pretty well until i parked it a year ago. only small issues with it that i didnt have time to fix up. the fuel pressure accumulator developed a small leak at one of the fittings, i have a spare accumulator and a set of new fittings that i got from a Delorean website which are barbed so all you need to do is cut the rubber line and clamp on the line onto the other accumulator. the car also needs brake hoses. one ruptured one day when i was moving the car in the driveway so i wouldnt drive it too far without that issue resolved. the car belonged to late audi nut Bill Perron so it had been taken care of pretty well. newer speakers had been put in and i installed a new Sony Xplod CD headunit. Also installed Euro glass dual bulb headlights. Old lights will be included with the car along with some spare parts that had been given to
me when i bought the car. this car needs some TLC. I used it last year while i was at college and would start right up and would do 85mph all day. the car also had a new cat-back exhaust which had been installed by the previous owner. there are some dings and dents but the interior is CLEAN! I think its a fair price because if you think about the headlights alone they are worth a third of what im asking. which is 900 firm
I would really like these cars to go to people who will take care of them. I do need them out as soon as possible, so hopefully i gave out a pretty good description of both vehicles. If by any reason you have any questions or need me to take pics of the cars dont hesitate to e-mail me or call with any questions. Please do call after 6 EST as cell reception is bad work, but i do check my e-mail regularly at work.
cheers

Julian
