This is a well maintained and loved S8, professionally cared for since the factory warranty expired.  Motor and transmission perform beautifully as they should, car pulls well, no visible smoke, no visible engine leaks from looking above in engine bay.  Transmission shifts properly in auto and tiptronic mode (from shifter and steering wheel).  Car rides and drives very well, no signs of overly worn components and has nearly new front brakes and brand new tires fitted.  No creaking, knocking or other noises while driving, great highway cruiser which is where much of the miles accumulated are from, highway driving.  Runs, drives and appears like a car with far lower mileage.  Professionally detailed regularly and kept exceptionally clean inside and out.  Just detailed including exterior, interior and engine bay.  Comes with all factory options, does not have the mini-navigation, not sure if that was an option in the 2001.  Has all the additional parts that tend to get lost or damaged,
medical kit, full sized spare, wheel changing items and tool kit complete.  This is a California car, exceptionally clean underneath and in engine bay, no rust on hardware from my inspection!  Car does have a few blemishes as with any car of this age: front bumper right has a scrape from a curb, minor wheel rash/marks, sand blasted front end, some parking scratches on the rear bumper and that's about it from what I have seen.  Car is still located in California in SF Bay Area.
