Description:
PICTURES.

Commemorative Edition (red leather seats front and rear). **BACKGROUND** I have owned this car since 2002 and have been an avid Audi enthusiast since 1999. This car has been through some extensive work and been very, very well maintained by myself. It has been to the Carlisle Import/Kit Replicar Nationals from 2004-2006 and won two awards at Motorstadt in 2004 and 2006. I take exceptional pride in the vehicle and am quite passionate about the time and effort that has gone into this car. **ENGINE** MC1 from a 1986 5000 turbo. Cylinder head has about 25,000 miles on it. K26 turbo in super shape. MAC11 QLCC chipped ECU along with 2bar wastegate spring. Urq igloo, intercooler, and downpipe, as well as 2Bennett tie rod used in swap. Fresh timing belt service at time of engine swap (Summer 2005). This means new water pump, roller, thermostat, front crank seal, G11 coolant, new coolant tank, new OEM radiator. Main fuel filter and crush washers replaced in May of 2007. All
ignition components replaced as well (W7DTC tri electrode plugs, OEM plug wires with loom, cap, rotor). New pin type coolant temperature sensors, new idle switch, new Urq throttle cable, new air filter (May 2007), brand new Sachs clutch kit in May of 2008 as well. New gas pedal bushings installed, new clutch master and slave cylinders with fresh ATE Super Blue fluid. Brand new OEM motor mounts May of 2007 with new hardware. O2 sensor is 2 years old as well. Wastegate diaphram replaced with a new OEM piece one year ago. Fuel injectors were cleaned one year ago and checked for appropriate flow pattern. **SUSPENSION** H&R springs with Boge Turbo Gas shocks installed in early 2003. At that time new ball joints front and rear were replaced, as well as ALL control arm bushings, front tie rod ends, strut mounts, dust caps, bump stops, strut bearings, and car was given proper alignment. Car also has a rare adjustable Jamex strut bar up front. **BRAKES** Brembo vented front
rotors, ATE solids in the rear. PBR pads all around. Brake pressure regulator was replaced right before I purchased the car, and the master was replaced by the dealer in 2003 (have records to prove). **EXTERIOR** Fresh respray in Alpine White performed in summer of 2003. Front and rear bumpers sanded smooth like the B3's. Brand new badging in the rear was put on (IIRC, most of these are NLA now, but I got them all brand new), new "quattro" badge on the front grille was purchased and put on as well. Front reflectors in excellent shape (tough to find these days!). Lower front grille cut for OEM fogs, but those were removed and sold. H4 Euro headlamps up front with city light feature and 100/130watt bulbs with relayed harness. Two sets of wheels - 14' BBS Audi 90 wheels with Dunlop Graspic snow tires, and 14' Ronals in Alpine White with Dunlop D60's. The Ronals come with the car. **INTERIOR** Fantastic shape red leather. This has been meticulously kept by myself and the
previous owner (I use Lexol). Door cards have map pockets intact. Floormats are rare Lloyds matts with red "quattro" lettering. Rear mats are regular Lloyds black mats. Instrumentation and lighting is OEM correct and is quite bright. Front speakers are Infinity and rears are Blaupunkt. Everything else in the interior is OEM, including the radio. Antenna is an aftermarket piece, but goes up and down like it should and uses the OEM base. New turn signal/hazard relay replaced along with headlight socket. All door strikers are new, as is the passenger rear door handle. All windows work properly, all doors open/shut with ease, as does the trunk and hood. Underhood protection for longer 5000 turbo fuel lines. Cockpit fault code diagnostics (fault codes can be checked from drivers seat via switch). **NOTES** I have all dealership maintinence records from 2002 onward and a wide array of receipts, forms, instructions from when the motor swap was completed. Car is ready to drive
anywhere and can be done so with great confidence! All oil changes have been done by me with a German filter and Castrol GTX oil (non synthetic). I have taken tremendous pride in making this car into what Audi should have produced. The interior is straight OEM and the car has maintained a "sleeper" look to it. Its anxiously awaiting another enthusiast to take the car and enjoy it and continue to improve on whats already been done with it. I highly encourage interested parties to contact me via email or phone to discuss any details about the car. I have numerous pictures of the car, so do not hesitate to ask for more photos. I appreciate your time looking over the ad!
