I have a 2.5 out of an 07 Rabbit for sale with approximately 20k on it. It is complete with the intake and exhaust manifolds, but is missing the accessories and oil filter flange.  I purchased this engine with the intent of building a high horsepower normally aspirated 5 cylinder, but my plans have changed. The engine will bolt onto any water cooled vw/audi 4cyl transaxle. This engine has awesome potential either NA or with forced induction, as the cylinder head is the same design as the 2.0 fsi engine minus the injectors in the combustion chambers. Think of an AEB 20V engine with 4 valves per cylinder and an extra cylinder, very nice indeed. 

I removed the cylinder head and oil pan to inspect the crankshaft and combustion chambers. The good news is that it has a forged crank, great for performance application. Also the upper oil pan has a very close fitting and well designed windage tray. I will completely reassemble the engine before selling unless the buyer would rather it remain apart. The engine is located in southern California, but I can arrange shipping if needed. Asking 1,100 obo.
