PICTURES.

Black, 154K miles.  Good engine and drive train, has a current VA Inspection sticker.  Too many cars not enough driveway space.  Its taken me a while to come to terms with selling the car.  Nothing like the pull of that turbo, sweet sound of that exhaust, and the invincible cornering of the quattro to plaster a smile on your face.  It has been driven 20 miles a day (to and from work ½ on highway and ½ in suburban main roads).  Starts every morning without any encouragement.  Idled before driving.  I have received approx. 20MPG in mixed driving.  No smoke from exhaust.  Regular disc brakes, no UFOs.  Never been chipped.

A few upgrades were made to the vehicle: Braided stainless steel brake lines, cat back Stebro stainless steel exhaust with silencer, Bilstein HD shocks, and H&R springs (have original springs that you can have), 4 Lloyds wool mats in the trunk in good condition (color matched rubber mats in the car).  Full set of Bently repair manuals included too.

It is an older car so it does have its share of items in less than pristine condition which appear to be the norm for the most part (from reading the other ads for this same car).  Here is the list of items that don't work: driver seat heater, driver’s seat has wear on the bolster (entry and exits), air conditioner needs freon - blows but not cold, head liner is drooping, hinge on armrest for phone is broken (never used the phone so not a problem).  Bose speakers need service.  Lights behind switches on center console do not light, but the switches do work, the headlights are original, one of the rear tires has a bit of flat spot.  Windshield is not cracked but has never been replaced so it has its fair share of little nicks.  Original rims shine up but not like new.. Some de-glazing on the drivers side rear view mirrors (around edge).

A lot of work done over the past 10 years I have owned it (have full itemized list).  The most recent replacements are (20K, most in the last 10K): two new front tires, Turbo, ECU, steering rack and related hoses. fuel injector seals and related crush washers, fuel filter, and drivers side ball joint, front and rear alignment, brake master cylinder, resurfaced all brake rotors, new brake pads, blower for ventilation replaced, heater core and hoses replaced, all belts replaced, timing belt, water pump, thermostat, oil pan gasket, ignition coil, distributor, intake manifold gasket, radiator fan, fuse link,   

All power windows, locks, passenger and back seat heaters, all gauges work, never been chipped, will pull to 1.8 bar in 3rd gear., center diff lock works great (verified this winter).  No oil leaks,  no rust.
