I have an type 16 trans out of a 5000 quattro. It shifted OK before I swaped it for one with a wider gear ratio. It has the tightest ratio (3500 rpm at 70 mph). I busted the diff lock switch pulling it as well but it's fixable. Didn't leak anything.
