Description:
PICTURES.

Up for sale is my 1988 Audi 90 with 125,000 miles. It is front wheel drive and has a solid 5cyl and 5 speed manual transmission with a perfect clutch. It was my project last year. I installed lots of new parts. But I lost momentum and can't seem to find it again... I'm an Audi enthusiast, owning many in the past. I have worked part time professionally on audis and imports for 10 years. In my opinion I should be able to give a more honest description about the car than someone selling it with minor mechanical knowledge. In other words, I know my car stuff so feel free to ask me any questions.

It runs and shifts fine, but the interior is a pretty rough. It could be driven, but the alignment isn't straight and there is no exhaust. *******The areo wheels which are pictured on the front of the car are what go with it. The rear wheels will be switched to the areo style to match the fronts.

The body is galvanized so rust is not an issue. Though it did find its way through a few minor chips, nothing structural to the metal. The worst part of the body is the driver's side rear tail light dent. (see picture) It's clear coat is still good which is rare for the older b3 audis. I've gotten these cars to get a solid 35mpg on the highway even though the factory suggests a 27mpg average!
The owner I bought it from replaced lots of the fuel injection parts looking to solve a no-start problem. It turned out to be the ignition control module.

Last year I installed:
  -New ball joints
 -New tie rod ends
 -strut mounts
 -New Radiator!
 -spark plugs, wires, cap/rotor
 -Ignition control module
 -Ignition switch
 -Brake flex hoses
 -rotors and pads

The car does need lots of work to make it a "civilized" driver. So heres the needs/bad list.
-alignment
-calipers rebuilt or replaced
-no headliner
-radio
-driver's seat's foam padding shifted, but leather is not torn.
-AC is not working
-door trim is warping slightly like normal with these cars, but not peeling back.
-much of the interior trim has been removed for headliner work
-tires
-carpet needs to go
-injectors are dirty
-exhaust

In conclusion, the car has potential and has not been wrecked (clear title). It will however take some work. It could easily be a great donor/ parts car for coupes, 80 and 90 b3 audis. I tried to describe the car as best I can, but may have missed some good and bad points. Its a used car and will be sold as is. I would prefer local pickup. I strongly suggest it be towed. Please email me with questions about delivery arrangements if you can't pick it up.
'make me an offer.
